- Mailbox locks. Lost mailbox key or a broken mailbox lock replaced.
- Sliding door and patio locks. Sliding glass doors are a common weak spot. We repair and replace their latches and locks.
- Garage door locks. Locks on garage doors and the entry door between the garage and the house.
- Lock changes for landlords and new homeowners. Rekey or replace every lock so you know exactly who has a key.

Just moved in? Start here
When you buy a house in Charlottesville or anywhere in Central Virginia, you inherit every key the previous owners ever handed out. Rekeying all exterior locks, including the garage entry door and any sliding door, is the first thing we recommend to new homeowners. While we’re there, we’ll point out weak spots, like a deadbolt that doesn’t fully throw or a strike plate held by short screws.
Repair, rekey or replace?
We don’t sell you new hardware you don’t need. If your locks work and you like them, we rekey or repair them. If they’re worn out, damaged or simply too flimsy for an exterior door, we’ll recommend a replacement and explain why. Kyle can usually give you an idea of what’s involved over the phone.
For landlords
Tenant turnover is a key moment for security. We rekey units between tenants, replace damaged hardware and can set up a master key system so you carry one key. See our commercial and property manager services for larger buildings.
