Scottsville and southern Albemarle
Scottsville is a small river town on a bend of the James, about a half-hour drive south of Charlottesville on Route 20. Its historic Main Street, river access and surrounding farmland make it a different world from the city, but it’s still squarely in our service area, along with nearby communities in southern Albemarle and across the river in Buckingham County.
Down at the river
Scottsville is a popular launch point for tubing, canoeing and kayaking on the James. Wet pockets and keys don’t mix, and it’s easy to come off the river to find your keys locked in the car or lost downstream. We can open the vehicle with car lockout service or cut and program a replacement key right in the parking area, including fobs and chip keys. Tip: before you launch, keep a key in a waterproof pouch clipped to you, not in the car.
Homes in and around town
Scottsville has a lot of older homes near Main Street and newer houses out in the county. For both, we handle house lockouts, rekeying, lock repair, deadbolt installation, garage door locks and sliding patio door locks.
Small businesses
For shops and offices in town, we provide business lockouts, commercial rekeying, Grade 1 hardware and master key systems.

Head north to Charlottesville, east into Fluvanna County, or west toward Nelson County. We cover them all.
